The loader mounted, hydraulic powered chain saw that we sell today as the Limbinator Saw was invented by Wendell McCracken of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, a retiree with a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He and his wife Donna raised eight children on a 250 acre pecan and cattle farm where tree trimming was an ongoing family chore.

Having invented and patented items his whole life, Wendell came up with the idea after the children were grown and gone, leaving the pruning to himself and his wife. He has also worked on radar systems for the B-58 Hustler project, has several other patents relating to phone systems and “down hole” measuring devices, has worked on armored bullet proof cars, and most recently built a plane and learned to fly.

Limbinator Saws, LLC is a family operated business run by Frank and Dawn Casey of Stratford, Oklahoma. Like Mr. McCracken, the Caseys maintain a large ranch with hundreds of pecan trees and were happy to participate in the research, development and marketing of this extraordinarily useful tool. The Caseys believe the success of the Limbinator Saw comes from real people finding solutions to real problems in a safe, simple, manner. They have tried to carry that tradition and policy into the operation of Limbinator Saws, LLC so that you, the consumer, can achieve the same results with their tool. The Caseys are always a phone call or email away to answer questions about tree trimming or the operation of your Limbinator Saw.
